The Preparing to Come Booklet, provided during the volunteer application process, provides details about what you will need when embarking on your ministry and Christian service with M/V pacific Hope and S/Y Next Wave. Additionally, it is a useful guide for speakers and other guests who may come aboard because it offers a comprehensive outline of types of places, outreach scenarios, the risks and supplies you may need. There are additional forms required for Divemaster DTS students after approval of the initial application. An email will be sent indicating which forms are needed along with information about when they need to be submitted, or what next steps are required after processing by third-parties such as PADI is completed.

You are welcome to secure your own travel insurance. Many of our volunteers have secured travel insurance through Seven Corners, a travel insurance and 24/7 emergency medical and travel assistance agency.
